Container Mushroom Farm

Container Mushroom Farm

Exterior of the intelligent container mushroom growing farm

Exterior of the intelligent container mushroom growing farm — a standard shipping container converted into a modern mushroom factory. The container body features an industrial white finish, with an intelligent control panel and ventilation ducts on the side, and purple LED plant growth light spilling through the glass observation window. Solar panels on the roof provide energy self-sufficiency, and multiple container units are arranged neatly on a gravel base. Suitable for rapid deployment on idle rural land, enabling "mobile smart agriculture".

Figure 2: Internal Cultivation System

Multi-tier vertical cultivation system inside the container

Container interior multi-tier vertical cultivation system — a metal multi-shelf vertical planting solution that maximizes space utilization. Mushroom culture bags and substrate trays are arranged on the racks, allowing oyster mushroom, shiitake, enoki mushroom and other varieties to be cultivated simultaneously. Purple-pink LED grow lights provide the spectrum required for mycelium development, automatic misting nozzles release a uniform humidity mist, and wall-mounted digital sensors monitor temperature, humidity and CO₂ concentration in real time. Clean white interior walls plus a stainless steel drainage floor meet food-grade production standards.

Figure 3: Fresh Oyster Mushroom Fruiting Close-Up

Close-up of fresh oyster mushrooms fruiting — oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus) growing vigorously from a cylindrical culture bag, with soft off-white caps and fine, well-defined gills, the surface covered in crystal-clear droplets left by the misting system. The blurred background reveals further mushroom clusters on the adjacent shelf, with the dark substrate forming a visual contrast against the tender mushroom bodies. Under precise environmental control and light management, the mushrooms are full-bodied and fruit evenly, with quality far exceeding that of conventional greenhouse cultivation.

Figure 4: System Structure Cross-Section

System structure diagram of the container mushroom factory

Schematic diagram of the container mushroom factory system structure — an overview of the systems inside a 40 ft standard container: multi-tier cultivation racks plus LED grow light bars, an HVAC constant temperature and humidity air conditioning unit, an air filtration system, an automatic misting irrigation pipe network, a temperature/humidity/CO₂ sensor matrix and an intelligent control panel. Ventilation outlets, the power interface and the water supply inlet are marked on the exterior. The isometric view illustrates how the subsystems work together, making it suitable for project proposals and customer presentations.
